I am excited by the “invisibility” of user experience design. I believe in intentional design: looking out for the user – exploring all the why’s and how’s behind a design, so that our users don’t have to.
I am experienced in the end-to-end design of interfaces – from user research to developer hand-off. I thrive when designing within complex problem spaces: enterprise software, technically intensive products, or any systems that require thoughtful, scalable solutions.
I understand that the technologies, appliances, and organic forms we interact with day-to-day shape how we envision software to be – past, present, and future. My work in user experience design is shaped by my exploration of applied media studies, computer science, writing pedagogy, and exercises in visual and tactile media.
